The purpose was to identify teachers and students needs for increasing interest and motivation for science education, for children engaging better in learning science and for identifying ways to support the development of students’ attitudes towards science, and essentially nurture an interest in choosing careers in science. The findings of the research at national level have been compared, analyzed and synthesized in a Transnational Report. Among other, the report emphases that currently there is no training for teachers in using fun lessons when teaching sciences. By providing them a suitable and customized training programme, teachers would be able to incorporate SciFUN outcomes into their classes. Examples of good practices regarding the use of mobile devices (GPS, PDAs, Tablet PCs), comics, digital storytelling, film, multimedia, and Web 2.0 within indoor and outdoor activities to teach sciences would be a real help for teachers, and they would welcome a toolkit (the SciFUN Toolkit) with such best practices included.
